Epoxy Table Projects

Mappa Burl waterfall river table

This table was made for a nice couple out of the Blue Moutains, Ontario. We used Mappa Burl, river rocks and clear epoxy in order to make this custom handmade river table. We make the cut foe the leg so that the grain continues down the "waterfall" style upright. We finished in an oil based product and used gas pipe for the other 2 legs. This unique handmade epoxy table makes a great conversation piece.

Hard Maple kitchen island top

This island top was made custom and installed in Collingwood, Ontatrio. We used locally sourced Maple with black colored epoxy to accent the dark knots in the wood. This was built using one single slab cut and glued together to help keep it stable, it also has a maple skirt around the edges in order to hide the end grain. This custom made island top creates the center piece for this newly renovated kitchen.

Tamarak Epoxy Dining Table

This was the first epoxy table we ever made in our shop. We used local Tamarak we sourced from Lions Head which was a single slab design cut in half and placed into a mold. We then filled the mold 2 inches deep with epoxy and colored it with translucent blue ink and a slight amount of shark attack blue pigment to give it the wavy look. Our customer wanted something that resembled the ocean so we made it translucent with the pigments adding some depth. This table required 35L of epoxy to complete and is one of the larger ones we have done to date.

Spalted Maple river table

This end table was made and sold out of our showroom in Owen Sound. We used local spalted maple and ocean blue colored epoxy in order to make this handmade end table. We cut a piece of spalted maple and turned the live edge to the inside and poured the epoxy to join the pieces together. We used a simple leg deisgn as to not draw attention away from the top. This handmade table was an easier design but beautiful none the less.

Ambrosia Maple boardroom table

We are currently working on this boardroom double river table for a local buisness in our area. We used 2 slabs, cut one side off and put it on the outside to create the dimensional look. This custom made boardroom table is made from Ambrosia (wormy) Maple with Laguna Blue colored epoxy. This unique table is 10ft x 40in as per the customers request. Custom made epoxy river tables are a great way to wow customers when they come in to shop for home renovation items.

Walnut River Table

This coffee table was made from a single slab of local Black Walnut cut in half and placed into a mold where we filled the mold with epoxy and colored it with a silver alcohol ink and swirled while curing to create the pattern you see in the photo. We paired it with some X style black powder coated legs from Rusty Design and finished it with Dark Odies oil. Our customer wanted a piece that would stand out and be the center of their livingroom.
